Arezzo is a Tuscan town that goes way back in time. The Etruscans, the people living in this area since the 8th century b.C, were incredible goldsmiths and masters of the “granulation” technique through which they could obtain microspheres from very fine gold threads. Those spheres were then welded on various artifacts as embellishment or in order to create images and patterns. The granulation technique was so precise and complex that modern goldsmiths were able to reconstruct all the necessary steps only one-hundred years ago.
The true avant-garde legacy of the Etruscans in this field has been passed on to today’s goldsmiths. Our goal is to optimize their work process with specific softwares and through our experience that has led us to cooperate with such excellent craftsmen many times over the years.
